Fit for King is GNOFHAC’s annual tribute to the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  Each year, GNOFHAC staff organizes a series of events – trainings, seminars, film screenings and concerts – to educate the community about fair housing, celebrate the Civil Rights Movement, and inspire change.

The theme for Fit for King 2014 is Are We Winning the Struggle to End Segregation? The summit will analyze the current state of residential racial segregation on a local and national level. Experts from around the country will lead breakout sessions and panel discussions examining the intersections between racial segregation and environmental justice, gentrification, education, voting rights and public policy.
