Fit for King 2016: Save the Date!

Please mark your calendars and join us on Friday, January 15, 2016 for the Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center’s 9th annual Fit for a King fair housing conference. The free, full-day event will be held at the Kingsley House in New Orleans’ Lower Garden District. The theme of this year’s conference is Bringing Justice Home: Fair Housing in an Era of Displacement and Growing Inequality.

Fit for a King is GNOFHAC’s annual tribute to the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Each year, GNOFHAC organizes a series of events- trainings, seminars, and film screenings- to educate the community about fair housing, celebrate the Civil Rights Movement, and inspire change.

Fit for a King 2016 will be keynoted by renowned civil rights activist Angela Davis. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited and online registration is required. Register here.
